MISPlot v2.0
The MISPlot application was created to
allow church wards and/or stakes to be able to create a visual aid
showing contact information for both member and nonmember families
within their unit’s boundaries. The application was designed
(but not limited) to use family and individual information which can
be exported by another application called the “Member
Information System (MIS)” which is used by the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) for maintaining church membership
records.

LDS Ward Info
LDS
Ward Info is a collection of utilities for working with MIS/MLS data.
The first utility is a program for the Pocket PC called LDS WardView
that allows for rich browsing of ward information based on the import
of the XML file from MIS2XML. MIS2XML is a program that will save
MIS/MLS data as an XML file that can be easily imported into XML based
readers and even databases, like Microsoft Access, that support XML
importing. MIS2XML is built on, and distributed with, a .NET
DataAdapter for MIS .DAT files and MLS .csv files called
LDSDataAdapter. This adapter can be used to query those text files as
if they were a relational database. These programs are all being posted
as open source allowing anyone to contribute to their updates. You can
download installations for these programs and sign up to contribute to
the project at http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/ldswardinfo.
