File Number Formatting - Fixed formatting of member file number. It now follows the 000-0000-0000 format.
Update Web Information - Updated web site and e-mail information.
Franklin Support - Support for Franklin/Ascend software.
All MIS Fields - All MIS fields are now available.
Complete Names - Preferred or complete names can optionally be used in the individual's records.
WOW! There's so much new I'm not sure where to begin...
Graphical User Interface (GUI) - MIS2PALM is now a Windows application in the truest sense. Before version 3, MIS2PALM was a Windows Console application, much like a DOS program. Well, kiss that command-line goodbye! MIS2PALM version 3 is all GUI! No more fumbling around for the command-line syntax.
More Output Options - You now have much more control over the data that is written out to the CSV file. In addition, you now have the baptism date and membership file number available as options.
Data Date - The file date of MEMOUT.DAT is now written as part of the first record (the 'Last Name' label) in the CSV file. That way you can easily find out the 'age' of your MIS data.
Unit Names Editor - You can now, from within MIS2PALM, enter the unit names to use when processing Stake data. Additionally, MIS2PALM will automatically read the list of unit numbers from MEMOUT.DAT and allow you to easily enter the names that go along with each unit number.
Integrated On-line Help - All documentation has been incorporated into a Windows Help (HLP) file. And it is all easily available from within MIS2PALM. Just press the Help button or F1 anytime for context sensitive help.
Install Program - MIS2PALM version 3 now comes with an installation program. Simply download the full install version and run SETUP.EXE. After a couple of easy questions (just press Enter) MIS2PALM will be installed and available from your Start Menu. Then, in the unlikely event you decide to remove MIS2PALM, there is an uninstall available from the standard 'Add/Remove Programs' option in Control Panel. (Can it get any better than this? Yes, I know, the installation program is larger than all of MIS2PALM. You do have the option of downloading just the program files (quick and dirty) and installing it yourself.)
